A handsome and large string box made from solid English sterling silver fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1900; late Victorian / early Edwardian in era. The box also has the initials (J.L.R.) for the maker.
The box or dispenser stands on four ball and claw feet.
Excellent condition measuring 3 3/8" in diameter x 4 1/2" tall and weighing a respectable 180 grams / 5.79 Troy Ounces.
