Description
A wonderful and very smart cigar tube made from solid sterling silver stamped 925 on the underside together with the makers mark for Fani Argenti of Florence / Firenze.There are three bands of gold (gilding) creating a refined luxurious finish. The tube would lend itself to a long slim cigar with an aperture approximately 5/8" in diameter.
The case sits in it's original presentation case with wear commensurate with age. The cigar tube is in superb condition dating to c.1970, measuring 5 1/2" in length x 11/16" in diameter with the box measuring 7" x 3 3/4" x 1 3/8". The silver weighs 64.5 grams / 2.07 Troy Ounces.
