An ultra rare find from the world renowned Maison Hermes or Paris. This is pair of unused nutcrackers / nut crackers made from a matte stainless steel manufactured in Germany and clad in the classic gold coloured leather made famous by Grace Kelly and her iconic gold Kelly bag. As part of their Maison (home) and tabletop collections, Hermès occasionally releases whimsical, highly luxurious versions of everyday utilitarian tools. They released this ultra-rare, leather-clad stainless steel nutcracker around the year 2000. This example looks to have been purchased from a showroom in 2002 with the original Bolduc / Ribbon marked 2002 and year of the hand. The nut cracker comes in it's original iconic orange presentation box with all the original tissue paper within; clearly gifted and untouched over the last 24 years. Signed "Hermes Paris".
