Description
An immaculate example of an most elegant hip or liquor flask suitable for either a lady or gentleman with it's handsome but simple decoration (raised continuous Acanthus leaf garland) around the top of the removable cup and the border around the top.The multi-faceted glass flask is in wonderful clean and undamaged condition. The cup and lid are both silver-gilt (gold over English Sterling Silver) and hallmarked for London 1911, making this 100 years old, a true antique and early George V in era. Both pieces also bear the makers initials A & Co. Ltd. for the most famous of English retailer's, Asprey & Company Ltd. of Bond Street, in London's Mayfair. The underside of the cup is also stamped " Asprey London ".
Superb condition, standing 4 7/8" tall.
