Description
A superb early Edwardian boxed set made from sterling silver, one marked "Sterling" and the other with the full English hallmark for the highly collectible Chester assay office and the letter A for the year 1901. The makers mark, V & J, for Villiers & Jackson is also present. Next to these marks, each has a vacant rectangular cartouche, for a personal engraving by your silversmith if desired.Each is beautifully decorated with engraving, most elegant. They sit in their original blue velvet and silk linted presentation box with a red leather covering.
Excellent condition, the pen measuring 6 1/4" in length and the box measuring 6 7/8" x 1 1/2" wide.
