Description
A high Victorian sterling silver letter opener, quite wonderful with it's ornate repousse handle and intricately engraved sterling silver blade. The handle has a feint and decorative letter R engraved onto the cartouche.There are English silver hallmarks to both the handle and blade for Sheffield 1861. The handle is also lucky enough to have the English design registration diamond.
Grand and decorative in excellent condition, measuring 9 1/4" in length.
