A wonderful dressing table / hand mirror made from sterling silver with a hallmark for Birmingham 1912 together with the makers mark H M for Henry Matthews.
The back has the most stunning piece of period tortoiseshell with the main body having a domed or raised profile which is inlaid with a delightful silver pique decoration.
Excellent condition and measuring 10" in length with the bevelled glass measuring 4 3/4" across x 5 1/4".
