Always highly sought-after, this is a large example of a French folding magnifying glass, the handle folding up and over the lens.
The glass is clear, with a good magnification. The handle is engraved "Depose" with a partial makers mark to the right.
Dating to c.1900 in excellent condition measuring 4 7/8" x 3 7/8" x 1" closed and once opened, measures 8 3/4" in length.
