Description
A fabulous antique French double picture frame made from brass and smothered in gold beautifully restored to it's former glory.A beautiful shape, the gilded frame stands on a folding easel to the rear. Behind the glass, the frame is lined with a wonderful pink taffeta and then mounted with some small pretty Ormolu mounts and the two circular apertures framed with an elegant border.
Dating to c.1900, it remains in superb condition ready to use. The overall size of the frame measures 8 1/4" x 5 1/2" x 7/8" thick; the circular apertures have a diameter measuring 1 3/4".
