Description

An unusual and very elegant jewellery box made from a beautiful and rich Burl Walnut.
The box is beautifully decorated with the original polished brass and gilded brass mounts including shaped swing handles to the to the front of the three drawers.
The hinged cabinet door is opened with the knob on the left hand side; the box comes complete with a working key. The door retains the original bevelled glass.
The drawers open to reveal a Mahogany lining within.
Victorian in era dating to c.1880 it remains in superb condition measuring 8 3/4" x 5 1/2" x 12" tall.
