Always highly sought-after, this is a large example of a French folding magnifying glass, the handle folding up and over the lens.
The glass is clear, with a good magnification. The handle is engraved "Depose" (Trademark).
Dating to c.1900 in excellent condition measuring 3.25" x 2.5" x 5/8" closed and once opened, measures 5 3/4" in length.
