A very fine antique French picture frame having been professionally cleaned re-finished to create an example that looks as good as the day it was made around 1890 / 1900.
Made from bronze and lavishly gilded, the mounts under the glass on the blue / grey moire silk and simply charming, the top with a pair of Cherubs or Putti figures holding a ribbon and bow garland.
An exceptional gem in superb condition measuring 7 1/4" x 5" with the central framed aperture measuring 3 1/4" x 2 1/4".
