large antique english cut crystal and sterling silver perfume bottle 1898

Description

This wonderful and impressive perfume bottle was made from a hefty piece of English crystal with hobnail cutting to the underside and an elegant cut down each corner of the glass.
The hinged lid and applied pierced or reticulated mount that is made from solid English sterling silver fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1898, a true Victorian example. Once the lid is opened, the original crystal stopper is revealed.
A fabulous and grand scent bottle in excellent condition measuring 3 7/8" square x 5 1/4" tall.
