Description

A handsome Victorian English inkwell made from a combination of polished Bronze (base) and Brass (spherical inkwell). The metals have been professionally polished to gleam showcasing the four polished cabochon Agate stones. There is a ring handle to each side.
The hinged lid opens to reveal the original bronze and glass liner, beautifully engineered with one edge cut to fit next to the hinge, lovely quality.
Excellent condition measuring 5 1/2" in diameter x 3 3/4" tall. Victorian in era, dating to c.1880.
