Description

A most unusual and very stylish three piece tea service made from English EPNS (Electro-Plated Nickel Silver) and dating to c.1890/1900, late Victorian in era.
The set is lovely quality in an ovoid form, the teapot with a top-notch flush hinge and topped with a polished horn finial. The pieces are beautifully engraved with floral and foliate motifs.
All pieces are in hallmarked for W.W Harrison of Sheffield, also with a showroom in Hatton Garden, London. The teapot measures 9 3/4" handle to spout x 4 3/4" x 5 1/2" tall; the sugar measuring 8" wide x 4" x 4 1/4" tall; the milk pitcher measuring 5 5/8" spout to handle x 2 5/8" x 4 1/4" tall.
A magnificent and unusual set in excellent condition.
