The most popular design of Jasper ware biscuit barrels is this wonderful rural fox hunt scene. Adorned with detailed relief decoration incorporating horses, huntsmen, and the "the kill"; the decoration in wonderful undamaged condition.
The collar, swing handle and lid are all silver plated and in superb condition. The underside is impressed " Wedgwood ". Dating to around 1890, it measures 6 1/2" tall to top of lid finial but excluding handle, the base diameter measures 5".
