A wonderful and highly decorative paper (or paper) mache tray dating to around 1820, Georgian in period.Beautifully hand painted with a chinoiserie floral design, fashionable today, timeless and perfect for transitional decor.
The painting is highlighted with gold with and an all round gilt edging to the tray finishes it off.
Excellent condition with normal surface crazing. A perfect size to display or use perhaps as a letter tray in an entrance hall. 14 1/4" x 11".
