A good clean example of a nineteenth century brass vesta case in the form of a Postage Stamp case with a purse style clasp to the top.
The bottom is where the strike can be found and the case having the patent date of August 14th 1883.
Superb condition measuring 1 3/4" x 1 1/8" x 1/4" thick.
