Description
A lovely Edwardian painted Mahogany Constable's truncheon dating to around 1902.
The painted is somewhat worn on the back, which is normal and to be expected. The tip has the gold painted initials E R under a crown for "Edward Reigns", allowing us to date it accurately.
There are a couple of holes around the handle, perhaps for a covering once there and a chip to the terminal of the handle. Good condition, measuring 16" in length.
