Description

A rarely found and unusual toast rack by the world famous Asprey of Bond Street, London.
An unusual shape, with a an integral handle made from carved Ebony wood. The circular plate is removable and would have been heated by the spirit burner below to keep the toast warm.
The frame is signed A & Co. / Asprey London. There is also an English Design Registration number, 580710 which allows us to date it to 1911.
A superb gem in excellent condition from the creme de la creme of luxury retailers. Stands 7" tall.
