Description

A really magnificent and large (6 3/4" long) Victorian bronze pen wipe, beautifully cast and detailed in the form of a handsome Great Dane.
The centre of the back contains the original bristles for removing the excess ink from a traditional dip pen.
Dating to around 1880, this superb and unusual piece remains in excellent condition. 6 3/4" x 3 5/8" tall.
