A charming and highly collectible Mr. Punch Baby's Rattle, made from sterling silver with two bells.
The handle is made from Mother of Pearl or Nacre shell with it's iridescence qualities.
A full hallmark for Birmingham 1934 together with the makers initials W.H.C. for the silversmith, W H Collins & Co; also the mark BCM Priaur appears who made these small novelty sterling silver pieces in conjunction with W.H. Collins.
Excellent condition, measuring 3 3/4" in length.
