Description

A handsome Antique English Quizzer or magnifying glass, and complete with it's original red leather case.
The glass frame is made from silver gilt (gold on sterling silver), unmarked which is common for magnifying glasses of this era.
The glass is in beautiful condition, kept pretty much pristine due to it having been kept in it's original red leather case. The handle of the glass can turn to hold on a 90 degree angle if preferred.
A lovely piece in superb condition and very usable today ... the case measuring 3" x 2 1/8"; the Quizzer measuring 2 3/4" long x 1 7/8" wide.
