A stunning English sterling silver Jewelry box with a glorious domed Tortoiseshell panel intricately inlaid with silver pique decoration in the form of flowers in a hanging basket.
The underside is signed by the highly sought-after Goldsmith's & Silversmith's Company, Regent Street, London. There is of course a hallmark, for London 1917.
The box stands on three original legs, the lid fits well and once opened, reveals a charming red silk lining. Excellent condition, measuring 2 7/8" in diameter x 1 3/4" tall.
