Description

A stunning Victorian jewellery box made from cognac coloured Burl Cedar with it's rich toffee colour and highly figured timber trimmed in Ebony with ebony stringing framing all sides.
The front is inset with a decorative brass plaque, complimenting the shield shaped escutcheon inlaid to the front housing the working key.
The interior reveals a fitted interior, with three tiers and two removable trays lined in rich jewel-toned purple velvet. The box lends itself to jewelry or perfect for keeping cufflinks etc. for the gentleman.
Excellent condition, measuring 9" x 6" x 4".
