Description

A wonderful and highly collectable solid / sterling silver pepper mill created in a modernist design for the top quality London silversmith, Mappin & Webb.
The mill looks to have been rarely used and comes complete with it's original presentation case.
The silver is fully hallmarked on the back for London 1977 together with the Elizabeth II silver jubilee head mark; also marked by the silversmith, Mappin & Webb.
The top fastener is beautifully cast in the form of a crown, which unscrews to open the pepper mill; the pepper mill fittings made by the English maker, Park Green & Co.
An heirloom collectable in superb condition weighing 208.7 Grams / 6.71 Troy Ounces and measuring 4" tall with a base diameter measuring 2"; the box measures 6" x 4" x 3 1/2".
