A fine pair of modernist / brutalist solid silver cufflinks by the highly collectable Brian Leslie Fuller. Each is fully hallmarked for London 1988 together with the makers mark. They sit in their original presentation case with the Glis Glis Dormouse Trade Mark for Brian Leslie Fuller. Both in excellent condition each measuring 5/8" x 3/8" x 5/8" with the box measuring 3" x 2 1/4" x 1 1/8". In 1966 he joined Gerald Benney and two years later was made General Manager of the firm. In 1975 he started his own studio in Clerkenwell before opening a retail shop and workshop in Old Amersham in 1977. It was there that he adopted the local Glis Glis Dormouse as his Trade Mark. His work ranges from jewellery to domestic and ceremonial silver and commissions include pieces for the church, many London Livery Companies as well as business and private clients.
