The silver is fully hallmarked on both the underside and the lid for Sheffield 1896, making this a true antique example from the Victorian era. The makers mark is also present for the well renowned silversmith, Lee & Wigfull Ltd ( Henry Wigfull ) Highfield, Sheffield. The caddy remains in superb condition measuring 3 3/4" wide x 2 3/4" deep x 5 1/8" tall to top of finial. A good gauge of silver and a good weight, 208.3 Grams or 6.70 Troy Ounces.
