gucci italy solid sterling silver and enamel pill box c1950

Description

A stunning example of a vintage 1950's pill box in the form of a miniature coin purse. I have seen a few of these in solid silver but this is the first I have come across in silver and enamel.
The silver is fully marked 925 and signed "Gucci Italy". The silver is has a linear engine turned design below the glossy deep green / teal coloured enamel which is all intact and without damage.
A highly collectable box in superb condition measuring 1 7/8" x 1 5/8" x 3/4".
