Description
A wonderful pair of fully refurbished French made binoculars, stamped M G (Ministere de la Guerre) created for the British Military for use during World War 1 in 1917.The brass has been meticulously professionally polished, a winning combination with the cognac leather. The brass is engraved with the military crows foot mark together with Mk 5 Wide and 54043
They come with a leather case stamped with military marks and 2 1/2 on the lid (wear commensurate with age and use for over 100 years).
They are in fully working order and in superb condition. They measure4 3/4" x x 2 1/4" x 4 3/4" tall expanding to 6 1/2" when the sun shades are in use and they are fully opened. The case measures 5 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 6 1/2".
